The Talking Stick Resort is the most distinct resort and entertainment destination to open its doors in Scottsdale, Arizona.  NCTA is proud to host the 2020 Spring Conference at this enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.  The hotel features the luxuries of a resort with exceptional service and a wide array of options for unmatched entertainment. When relaxing in one of the 496 deluxe rooms, guests will enjoy upscale amenities, which include five unique dining options, five entertainment lounges, and two heated swimming pools.  For our "pro golfers," the resort offers two 18-hole golf courses with uniquely different golf experiences.  The NCTA room rate is  $199.00++ for a single/double.

• 11:30 am  Arrive at the golf club for the 1st  Annual NCTA Scholarship Scramble Tournament.  Players will receive a boxed lunch.
• 12:00 pm  1st  Annual NCTA Scholarship Scramble Tournament shotgun start at the Talking Stick Golf Club.  Awards ceremony to follow.

GOLF:  Scottsdale Scholarship Scramble
This year NCTA is introducing a new tradition;  the Scholarship Scramble Golf Tournament.  This golfing opportunity will not only serve as a valuable networking opportunity but also contribute to the NCTA scholarship fund.  All proceeds from the tournament will support our Member's Children Scholarship Fund.  The tournament will feature multiple ways for your company to participate.

The NCTA room rate is  $199.00++ for a single/double. The culinary experts at Talking Stick Resort™ have created six unique restaurants for you to enjoy throughout the hotel and resort.  Should the mood call for one of Scottsdale's best fine dining experiences, handcrafted sandwiches in an upscale bistro, oysters on the half shell in a modern seafood bar, or just a quick snack near the casino action, Talking Stick Resort has a dining experience to fit your taste.

Scottsdale is located east of the state capital of Phoenix.  The closest airport is Phoenix's Sky Harbor, which is located approximately 25 miles from the resort.  Sky Harbor is serviced by all the major airlines and often has excellent fares.  Please remember that Sky Harbor Airport has three terminals.  Click here to view the airport map.

The rental car facility is on the airport property but housed in a separate building. A shuttle bus takes you from the airport to the rental car facility.   Car reservations are highly encouraged, as vehicles are extremely limited for walk-up customers.  Uber and Lyft are also a ready option.

Looking for offsite group activities, we offer a variety of options.  The Odysea in the Desert just a mile from the resort. OdySea in the Desert is a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination that features six major attractions, including OdySea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, Pangea Land of the Dinosaurs, Surprise Your Eyes, and Polar Play Ice Bar, in addition to 20 dining, shopping, and amusement venues. The outdoor courtyard regularly hosts a variety of free events and family entertainment throughout the year. Parking is free, and there is no admission required to enter OdySea in the Desert.
